Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) form an agreement between you and B4 Labs (“we”, “us”) and govern your use of the B4Eat mobile app, this website and related services (the “Services”).

By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

• You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country if higher.
• Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Keep your login details confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• One person may hold only one account. Accounts are personal and cannot be transferred.
• Tell us immediately at support@b4eat.app if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

B4Eat helps you discover restaurants, check in during your visit, share reviews and receipts, and collect B4E points. We may add, change or remove features over time. We do not sell food, take orders or process payments for restaurants, and we are not responsible for the products or services provided by restaurants.

B4E points are loyalty points awarded for eligible activity in the app, such as verified check-ins, receipts and reviews.

• B4E points have no cash value, are not money, e-money or a financial product, and are not an investment.
• Points cannot be purchased, sold, transferred between accounts or exchanged for cash.
• The activities that earn points, the number of points awarded and the levels available are set out in the app and may change over time.
• Points may expire after a period of account inactivity, as shown in the app.
• We may withhold, reverse or cancel points that were earned through error, fraud or a breach of these Terms.
• If the program ends, we will give you reasonable notice in advance.

Check-ins require you to be physically present at the restaurant. Receipts must be genuine, belong to your own visit and be shared within the time window shown in the app.

We verify check-ins and receipts using location signals and automated and manual checks. Spoofing your location, submitting altered, duplicate or third-party receipts, or using automated tools is not allowed and may lead to the loss of points and account suspension.

You keep ownership of the reviews, photos and other content you post. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce and adapt that content to operate and promote the Services. This licence ends when you delete the content, except where it has been shared by others or must be kept for legal reasons.

Reviews must reflect your own genuine experience. You must not post content that:

• Is false, misleading, or written in exchange for payment or other benefits from a restaurant.
• Is unlawful, defamatory, hateful, harassing or sexually explicit.
• Infringes someone else’s intellectual property or privacy.
• Contains spam, advertising or personal data about others.

Points for reviews never depend on whether the review is positive or negative. We may moderate, hide or remove content that breaks these rules.

When using the Services, you agree not to:

• Break any law or the rights of others.
• Create multiple or fake accounts, or manipulate points, levels or rankings.
• Reverse engineer, scrape or interfere with the Services or their security.
• Use bots, emulators or other automated means to access the Services.
• Impersonate any person, restaurant or B4 Labs staff.

Restaurants that join B4Eat as partners do so under a separate partnership agreement. Partners cannot buy, edit or remove reviews, and cannot offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Interested venues can apply through our partnership form.

The Services, including the B4Eat and B4 Labs names, logos, design and software, are owned by B4 Labs or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for its intended purpose. No other rights are granted.

If you download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, you also agree to the terms of that store. These Terms are between you and B4 Labs only, not Apple or Google, who are not responsible for the app or its content.

For apps downloaded from the App Store, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”. Restaurant information and user reviews are provided for general information and may not always be accurate or current. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection laws.

To the extent permitted by law, B4 Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or points, arising from your use of the Services. We do not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

You can stop using the Services and delete your account at any time from the app settings. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms, with notice where appropriate. When an account is closed, any unused B4E points are cancelled.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which B4 Labs is established. If you are a consumer, you also benefit from the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence and may bring claims in your local courts. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve any issue informally.

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Services or the law. We will notify you of material changes in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using the Services after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
